Vist the Crane Historical Society in Harrison
Our museum is located in the first house built in Harrison - 1891. It was the home of the founder of Harrison, Silas Crane. He convinced President Benjamin Harrison to set aside a 23-acre plot of ground from the Coeurd'Alene Indian Tribe for the townsite. Our museum has a large audio historical collection on cds from the interviews conducted by historical author Bert Russell
